Our Story
Organically Gifted was born from my desire to share my new found appreciation for the environment with my friends and family. While I was pregnant with my first child, I began researching what products were available for babies. The more research I did, the more scared I got. I was absolutely shocked to learn how many chemicals were being used in baby products; from personal care items, such as soaps, creams and diapers, to baby's clothes and toys.
This research prompted me to take a closer look at the products I was putting on my own skin, using to clean my house, and even worse ingesting on a daily basis. I began researching alternative solutions for my family and what amazed me was that there were few organic suppliers out there and it was almost impossible to find one stop shopping for all of my families needs.
All of this research really got my blood pumping and I guess it's safe to say that I had not only jumped on the "going green" bandwagon I had leapt over it at full speed. I was throwing out all of our old cleaning products and replacing them with more natural options, I was purchasing organic produce and I was pretty much living in the organic section of my local grocery store. I was so excited that I wanted to scream it at the top of my lungs, but quickly realized that not everyone shared my enthusiasm for my new found love of the environment. So I started looking for ways to softly introduce my friends and family to eco-friendly products, but to my surprise there were not a lot of choices available when buying green gifts. There were a handful of companies that offered some options, but nothing that really targeted my interests. I knew I had found my niche and "Organically Gifted" was born.

WHAT WE STAND FOR
At Organically Gifted, we pride ourselves on creating unique, toxin-free, organic, & natural gift creations for all occasions that do not deplete our planet's natural resources. It is our belief that we can each make this earth a better place by eliminating the use of certain chemicals in everyday products. Our mission is to design and deliver high quality organic gift sets to environmentally conscious individuals and organizations while reducing the burden on the environment.
Every aspect of Organically Gifted's business is considerate of the environment. All products are purchased according to fair trade principles including all marketing and promotional materials. Organically Gifted's business cards and postcards are printed on 100% recycled material using vegetable dyes. All packaging materials used are made from recycled materials and/or are reusable or biodegradable.
In addition, for every purchase our clients make Organically Gifted will donate one percent to the David Suzuki Foundation, who uses science and education to promote solutions that conserve nature and help achieve sustainability.
